About FayJoy

A foundation built by neighbours, for neighbours

What began in 2014 as five neighbours tutoring twelve children on a Saturday morning is now a foundation supporting 42 communities — still run with the same belief: lasting change is local.

Our mission

To remove the primary barrier to potential — hunger — by providing guaranteed nutrition and building sustainable food security for every child.

Our vision

A world where a child's postcode does not decide their future, and where every community can shape its own prosperity.

Our promise

Transparency without exception. You will always know where your gift went and exactly what it achieved.

Our story

How twelve children became 128,000 lives

We never set out to build an organisation. We set out to make sure the children on our street had somewhere safe to learn. Everything since has been a slow, stubborn extension of that idea.

  • Community-led design — nothing is built without local agreement
  • Long-term commitment measured in decades, not projects
  • Local hiring: 9 in 10 field staff live in the communities we serve
  • Open financials and honest reporting, including our failures
